A Strategic Executive Leadership Role
Reporting directly to CEO John Hamilton, the Chief Financial Officer serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and plays an essential role in guiding the organization's continued growth.
This is far more than a traditional finance position. The CFO will help shape organizational strategy while overseeing every aspect of financial operations, including:
Financial planning and long-term forecasting
Budget development and financial reporting
Nonprofit accounting and audit oversight
Regulatory compliance
Grants management
Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement oversight
Enterprise risk management
Capital planning and financial strategy
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, executive leadership team, community partners, and funding agencies to ensure Liberation Programs remains financially strong while continuing to deliver exceptional behavioral health services.

Ideal Experience and Qualifications
Liberation Programs is seeking a strategic financial executive with a strong background in nonprofit healthcare finance.
Preferred qualifications include:
Progressive financial leadership experience, including at least three years in a senior executive role
Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit accounting, and audit management
Experience managing federal and state grant funding
Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement
Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting expertise
Experience communicating with Boards of Directors and executive leadership teams
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred
Experience within behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or community-based nonprofit organizations is highly desirable.
