Overview: Community Healthcore (CHC) in Longview, Texas is the dynamic $40M+ lead behavioral healthcare organization meeting the mental health, addictions and intellectual disability service and support needs of people living in greater East Texas. Within CHC’s financial services, the Director of Revenue Cycle Management directs and oversees the overall policies, objectives, and initiatives of the organization's revenue cycle activities to optimize the patient financial interaction and customer satisfaction along the care continuum. Operationally, the Director will lead the ongoing development and execution of administrative and clinical functions that drive revenue generation, claims processing and collections in a rapidly changing healthcare financing environment.

 

The Role: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Revenue Cycle Management will lead the billing, collection, accounts receivable, and health plan contracting and credentialing management teams. You will also serve as a subject matter expert in CHC’s evolution from traditional fee-for service revenue generation to value-based reimbursements.  You will analyze current revenue cycle performance and recommend specific departmental and organization-wide improvements, as well as future-oriented changes and developmental activities.

As Director, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing policies, processes and performance metrics for the continuum of RCM activities from Eligibility and Pre-certification of clients to the proper reporting and coding of claims and from the billing to collection of accounts receivable. In addition, you will assure the timely enrollment, credentialing and re-credentialing of individual providers. As a leader, you will achieve departmental metrics, production, and financial goals by guiding and coaching your direct reports who plan and supervise daily workflow activities of the billing and health plan credentialing staff.  You and your team will assure staff compliance with applicable policies and procedures. On a monthly basis, you will analyze RCM performance and make reports to management.

As Director of RCM, you will serve as an integral member of the organization’s health plans contracting and negotiation team and will oversee all aspects of health plan related individual provider and facility contracting, enrollment, credentialing, and re-credentialing activities. And, as a member of Community Healthcore’s leadership team, you will play an active role in strategic planning and advisory capacities.

Home-based in Longview, Texas, Community Healthcore will entertain an onsite, hybrid or remote relationship depending on the technical expertise and the demonstrated leadership, supervisory and communications skills and experience of the successful candidate.

Experience/Education:

​

  • Revenue Cycle Management including Medical Billing and Management experience are required

  • Requires advanced organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Requires advanced oral and written communication skills with emphasis on extracting and providing concise and accurate information

  • Requires knowledge of third-party funding sources / programs and applicable billing requirements

  • Requires experience in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding

  • Experience in behavioral healthcare RCM is a plus

  • College Degree Preferred – Completion of courses in business / business administration preferred
