The Role: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Strategic Growth and Development will provide leadership, direction, and expertise in the development of organizational strategies, competencies and resources that support the organization’s mission, vision, and value objectives, in close collaboration with the organization’s clinical and operations leaders. The Director will influence the development and support of strategic plans and management agendas to achieve both organic and inorganic growth and development initiatives, bringing to bear both thought and project leadership to create momentum and enable organizational action.
As part of a visible, highly impactful team, the Director:

Challenges, provokes, and persuasively critiques operational thinking and design to produce visionary models of care and support in the rapidly changing healthcare environment

Works between business and program operations to build strategies and create change activities which position both for success in the future of evolving health systems

Develops partnerships, affiliations and alliances that support the missionary vison and values of the organization to include a center for innovation

Leverages organizational expertise and resources with transformative imagination to creatively meet the needs of unserved/underserved populations and communities across East Texas

Guides the development of service and provider network plans that meet and exceed community needs and regulatory requirements

Develops successful grant opportunities which support existing service lines or create new lines consistent with the direction of the organization
As Director, you will influence organization-wide performance through the design and implementation of service and business development strategies that match opportunities with the priorities of the organization. To meet the needs of key customers, you will play a leadership role in identifying and promoting the programs and services that enable Community Healthcore to respond to their needs and will play a lead role in the execution of these opportunities.
By staying aware of current trends and the marketplace environment, you will advise the organization regarding buy/build strategies and will be an engaged partner in thoroughly vetting the operations, financial and legal implications of each opportunity. You will assess, recommend, and implement innovative service and business models that drive growth and introduce new technologies, services, and processes to Community Healthcore. As a strategist capable of guiding our system-level leadership through a variety of complex service and business development initiatives, you will advance Community Healthcore’s reputation for "Helping people achieve dignity, independence and their dreams."

Possess a graduate degree, or its equivalent, in administration, management, public health, social science, social work or education
