The Role: This Assistant Vice President role for the Northwest Region is committed to the Meridian values and philosophy of “whole person health care” in its services to residents of Northwest Indiana. Services offered to residents in such communities as Lafayette, Michigan City, La Porte, Kokomo, and Mishawaka include inpatient and outpatient care, an addictions recovery residence, primary care, a skill building program for individuals with intellectual/development delay, a women’s recovery and a maternal addictions program. This role provides a wonderful opportunity be part a dynamic organization with excellent leadership and be instrumental in the development of new programs and growth of existing programs for this region.  

 

The Northwest Region currently has an $18m budget with over 115 staff, and the AVP will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating existing programs, develop and maintain budgets for each program, and be instrumental in the coordination of marketing activities, building relationships, and determining the need for the development of new program initiatives. There is great growth potential for this individual as the possibility exists to transition the Vice President of Clinical Services within 3 years.

We are looking for and experienced behavioral health professional with 4-10 years of related experience, and who is Master’s prepared or its equivalent. It is expected that this individual will have had operational responsibility for inpatient and outpatient programs.
