Overview: A rewarding leadership opportunity awaits the new Chief Quality & Informatics Officer of a forward looking and rapidly growing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system that serves Northwest Indiana through a network of 13 clinics and specialty programs in 7 communities. HealthLinc seeks an innovative healthcare professional to join its dynamic leadership team to oversee its quality management and informatics systems and functions and to provide guidance and support for its strategic development as the premier community health center serving its region. The Role: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Quality & Informatics Officer will direct, administer, coordinate, and integrate the systems, activities and initiatives that drive the achievement of quality outcomes for our patients and provide timely, actionable information to support our providers and organization in achieving organizational goals and objectives. You will lead HealthLinc's Quality Management System to ensure organization-wide consistency and program and service excellence. You will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate information and communication systems that enhance individual and population health outcomes, improve patient care, and strengthen the clinician-patient relationship. You will also develop and recommend administrative, governance and programmatic policies and procedures to coordinate functions between programs and services and help ensure compliance with accreditation, licensure, and other standards. You will serve as a member of the Leadership Team. In partnership with Team members, you will develop and implement plans to strategically position HealthLinc to be prepared for the transition from fee-for-service to a value-based payment system. Your success will rely on your own performance and your ability to develop and nurture collaborative relationships.

Our Ideal Candidate: “Ideal" candidates will be healthcare professionals with management and leadership experience within community health systems, passionate about serving people and will have the business acumen to balance competing priorities. Candidates must have successful track records leading strategic initiatives and building innovative support systems while maintaining a hands-on, roll-up-your sleeves approach to quality management and informatics. Enjoyment of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is a must.
Graduation from a medical-related program and a master’s degree in public health or a related area are required. A graduate degree or professional certificate in healthcare informatics and a license as a clinical practitioner are preferred. Must have a minimum of five years senior-level experience in either healthcare quality management or healthcare informatics and demonstrated aptitude in both fields. Ten or more years ambulatory or public health experience is highly preferred.
