Against this backdrop, a search is being conducted to identify and recruit candidates for the inaugural role of Chief Growth Officer.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is a newly created position within CCSI. With that in mind, this is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, creative, innovative leader and business strategist. As the highest executive responsible for leading the development and execution of CCSI’s integrated and long-term growth strategy you will be responsible for inspiring and leading teams across multiple service lines including Program Management, Management Services, and Consulting and Technical Services in the areas of Practice Transformation, DEI Transformation, Transformation in Education, Researchand Evaluation, and Financial Services.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the executive leadership team, the CGO will play a key role in partnering with the organization’s leadership to expand CCSI’s reach and impact of their work by inspiring collaboration across their talented business area leaders and maturing the infrastructure that supports CCSI’s business development and customer relationship management practices.
The CGO will be a working executive responsible for operationalizing CCSI’s business strategy and development functions. As an ambassador for the organization, the CGO will regularly work with internal and external stakeholders to create synergy across business areas, fostering an environment that promotes sharing new ideas and making connections that add value across service lines and customers to amplify the impact of CCSI’s work. CANDIDATE PROFILE:
To be successful in this inaugural role, the “ideal" candidate should:
Be a forward-thinking strategic leader skilled in driving the creation of new services, revenue streams, strategic partnerships, and business models.
Possess strong business planning and execution skills with the discipline and background needed to develop a rigorous process for vetting potential new business opportunities and advancing new pricing strategies that provide value to CCSI's customers.
Be the connective tissue between the fiscal and customer-facing components of the business.
Have a background working in or developing strong market research and competitive analysis teams.
Be exceptional at relationship-building and communicating. CCSI is not about growing bigger; rather, it is about expanding its impact by building on its established areas of expertise and bringing innovation and energy to finding fresh solutions to complex problems through partnering with customers who share their vision, values, passion, and commitment to others in need. Be able to serve as a credible and influential advisor and partner to the CEO, Executive Team, and business area leaders in leading organizational change.
Be a collaborative leader skilled at building strong teams across diverse departments by creating synergy across business areas, fostering an environment that promotes sharing new ideas, and making connections that add value across service lines and with customers and amplify the impact of everyone’s work.
Be able to lead and motivate, commit to “team,” and have strong “Emotional Intelligence” attributes.
Have a commitment to serving a culturally diverse community with a staff equally committed to justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Have experience in the areas of both revenue and expense forecasting.
Have experience working in a complex organization committed to flexibility, collaboration, and resource sharing across the organization within its matrix structure.
Possess a master’s degree in business administration, public health, healthcare administration, public administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in business development in the health / human services or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience.)

SALARY RANGE:
$165,000 to $175,000 (with opportunities for incentive compensation)
