Aspire Indiana Health is a dynamic community-based “whole health service” not-for-profit delivery system providing behavioral health, primary medical care, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire provides quality health care in five Central Indiana counties, serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life. Aspire’s history of providing care in this region dates back more than 50 years, with a comprehensive $60m system of care having a rich tradition and excellent reputation. Its development can be traced back to the commitment made by dedicated citizens from the area in concert with the support provided by the State of Indiana, Hamilton, Marion, Madison, Boone and Grant Counties, federal grants, and of course its fund-raising activities. This support has allowed for the development of Aspire’s comprehensive local delivery systems committed to providing much needed community-based care for area residents.
Aspire Indiana Health and Aspire Indiana Corporations prides itself as having a highly committed Board of Directors to whom this individual reports; a Board whose energy, entrepreneurialism, and commitment to quality are truly exemplary. And Aspire’s dedicated staff of over 600 employees provided over 366,000 visits this past year within a philosophical framework of “recovery” and a commitment to serving its clients in a holistic fashion. It is often recognized as an organization that is “on the cutting edge” in its provision of the highest quality healthcare services, and as one of the largest comprehensive systems in Central Indiana, it is typically seen as a model system that often changes the landscape of how “best practices” can be delivered. Within Aspire Indiana Health’s multi-corporation ecosystem is a Joint Commission Accredited Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) which is also a SAMHSA CCBHC grantee and a HRSA designated FQHC Look-Alike. These designations demonstrate Aspire’s commitment to quality, transparency, and client satisfaction.
